I remember creating make-shift studios with wrinkled blankets and flashlights when I was a young girl.  Fast forward to college and my first film camera.  Again, creating make-shift studios in my tiny apartment, playing around with friends.  It wasn't until having my daughter that I realized my love and passion for photography.  I sold my film camera and purchased a Canon 50D and in between baby feedings and such, I would study the camera manual.  I was obsessed with teaching myself everything there was to know about photography! Fast forward 18 yr later and I've been nationally recognized for my personal projects as well as being featured in magazines and so forth.  I am very proud of myself for being self taught and determined!
